From ashes to beauty — this is my story.

I’m Marlo Jenkins — author, speaker, coach, and Founder & CEO of Braiding With A Twist, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering teens through mentorship, creativity, and self-expression.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I was a teen mom. I dropped out of high school. I know what it feels like to be overlooked, broken, and counted out. But through God’s grace, I found healing, purpose, and the courage to rewrite my story — and now I help others do the same.

That’s why I created Marlo Jenkins Consultant — a space where faith meets strategy, and healing leads to purpose. I offer 1-on-1 coaching, empowering workshops, and motivational speaking that inspires women and teens to rise above trauma, discover who they are in Christ, and step boldly into their calling.

My book, White Girl: There’s Beauty in My Ashes, is my testimony in written form — a message to every person who’s ever felt like giving up. If you’re ready to grow, heal, and transform, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
